Pull out the telescopes, because playboating was just launched into orbit. This lift off happened this morning with the jr Women’s heat .

There has never been a Jr Ladies division like this before, it was a pistol flip’in, pan am’in, stomp’in all over it kind of heat. Were are talking big big air by these up and coming ladies. If you don’t believe me… check back to the media section shortly for the vid.

The field of girls were reduced down to the top 5 paddlers.

There was nothing Junior about the Jr Men’s heat today, you could even say it was biggie sized. These guys were throwing just as big as the Men. Coming out on top of this throw down:

The first ever World Championships under the ICF is now a reality

Thanks to Ontario Power Generation and Hydro-Quebec we now have our water. It is looking like spectacular Bus Eater levels. The schedule:

Tuesday - Official Bus Eater Training
Wed-Fri - Competition
Friday Evening 8 pm - Closing Ceremonies and Medals Presentation

ICF has announced that Emily Wall from Great Britain will be the head judge for this year’s World Championships. Emily has been heavily involved in developing the freestyle kayaking world in Europe. Check out her full bio.
